BPPV is the most common cause of vertigo. It occurs when the ‘crystals’ within the inner ear dislodge and float into the semicircular canals affecting function of the semicircular canal. Reposition maneuver are effective if done properly to ‘move’ the crystals out of the semicircular canal.
